Serian North is located North of the Mara River sitting on the Lamai Wedge where rolling savannah grassland contrasts with rock-strewn hillsides and giant fig-trees.
Serian Serengeti North is a seasonal camp set up between July to mid-November .The camp lies in a hidden valley of the Wogakuria, where the swaying seas of grass open to large blue-basin skies. It is during this period that the annual Great Migration passes through this area, and the camp is largely positioned to focus on the intense and dramatic river crossings.
The idea is all about following the huge herds of a million Wildebeest, Zebra and other plains game on their journey North. Long days out with picnic breakfasts and lunches are the order of the day. Some patience is required as you settle to watch the herds swarm the river banks searching for a place to cross, and it is a photographers dream as they explode across the river.
The Serian Serengeti North is a mobile camp featuring 8 spacious traditional Meru-style safari tents, with en-suite bathrooms, flushing loos and safari showers.
